San jose earthquakes x colorado rapids

This game was filled with scoring chances throughout the 90 minutes. With both teams on a run of good form and the Earthquakes playing at home, all things appeared to be lined up in the Quake’s favor. Ultimately the game was scoreless into halftime with no real discernable chances to talk about. However, the second half would follow suit. It remained scoreless until Nathan Cardoso scored in the 64th minute to put the Earthquakes ahead. That goal off a cross from Cristian Espinoza would be the deciding factor of the day as San Jose took all 3 points when the final whistle blew.
