Seattle Sounders x FC Dallas
On Saturday night, the Sounders FC and FC Dallas battled it out on the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field and ended in a 1-1 stalemate. Due to the loss, Seattle is now in fourth place in the Western Conference, five points behind first-place St. Louis City SC and only a point behind third-place Real Salt Lake and second-place LAFC. Since losing in 2011 at Lumen Field, Seattle's MLS home record against FC Dallas stands at 17 games undefeated.
In the 32nd minute, Seattle got on the board when Dallas scored their own goal. After receiving a pass from Albert Rusnák, Léo Ch raced down the left wing and fired a cross that Dallas' Sam Junqua accidentally put into his own goal. In the 42nd minute, Bernard Kamungo scored for the away team from a cross from Sebastian Lletget to tie the score at 1-1. The two teams would battle out the remainder of the evening, but neither would leave victorious as the scoreline would remain 1-1.
