In a Cascadia rivalry, the ladies did not disappoint as neither team gave up a goal the whole game except for one overturned goal in the 63rd minute thus the game ended in a 0-0 draw. The first chance at a goal for Portland came in the 22nd minute but goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce, who is the league leader in saves, caught the ball to stop the play. OL Reign had an opportunity in the 32nd minute when the ball was bouncing from player to player eventually bouncing off a defender at the goal line. Sophia Smith was on a breakaway in the 41st minute when Joyce came out and blocked her before she even had the opportunity to shoot the ball.
