In an action-packed showdown at Q2 Stadium, Austin FC battled to a 2-2 draw against St. Louis CITY SC, maintaining their impressive home sellout streak with a crowd of 20,738 fans.

The Verde & Black wasted no time asserting dominance, as defender Matt Hedges capitalized on a Žan Kolmanič corner kick to net a powerful header in the 14th minute, showcasing Austin's early offensive prowess. Despite St. Louis ramping up pressure, goalkeeper Brad Stuver's stellar saves kept the hosts ahead going into halftime.

The second half saw swift exchanges, with CITY SC equalizing via Eduard Löwen's penalty in the 49th minute, only for Austin to swiftly respond with Julio Cascante converting Alex Ring's precise cross just two minutes later. However, the drama continued into stoppage time as St. Louis found an equalizer through Célio Pompeu, ultimately resulting in a hard-fought draw between the two sides.
