philadelphia union x new england revolution

The Philadelphia Union earned a point against the visiting New England Revolution at Subaru Park this past weekend. Andre Blake made his 150th career start for the Union while unfortunately being unable to keep the clean-sheet. The first 45 minutes ended scoreless after the Union and Revolution were even across the board in team statistics. Sergio Santos would create the best chance for the Union within 32 minutes off a sweetly serviced cross from Mbaizo, but goalkeeper Matt Turner was in a daring position to force a big time save. The match opened up in the last half and both teams managed to create a couple of more shots on net but the New England Revolution would strike first. Teal Bunbury found the rear of the net in the 85th minute off a cross from DeJuan Jones. However, within the 88’ minute, Przybylko answered quickly with his first goal in MLS play on a header to tie the match making both teams split the points.
